OnlineSBI (SBI Net Banking) - How to Activate, Login and Use SBI Online

OnlineSBI - How to activate your onlineSBI account using PPK (Pre Printed Kit)
The easiest way to get your onlineSbi account is to visit your home bank branch and ask for net banking. Here are the steps:

Visit home branch of your SBI account and fill Internet banking registration form along with your signature.

Bank official will verify the form and your signature.

Bank official will issue you a PPK (pre Printed Kit) also called internet kit. Inside the kit, you will have your printed username and password.
Now to activate your onlinesbi account, you will have to go to onlineSBI site
- Click on Login
- Login with username and password mentioned in your PPK kit
- It will say - 'You have logged in for the first time. Kindly enter a username of your choice'. Choose a username of your choice
- Next it will ask you to set a login password
- Next it will ask you to set a profile password
- You are done. Please remember your username, login password and profile password.
OnlineSBI (SBI net banking) - Not able to login
A common problem is that users are not able to log in with the username and password they have received from the bank.
Please remember that once you successfully log in once with the username and password supplied by bank, it asks you for the new username and associated password. From next time onwards, you will have use the new username and password only.
Bank supplied username and password is only for one time use.
OnlineSBI (SBI net banking) - Your session has expired
Sometime while doing a net banking transaction you get the error - 'Your session has expired'. If you get this error, you will have to login again on the onlineSBI website.
This error occurs when you remain idle after login - i.e., don't do anything for some time. This is implemented to ensure your net banking security.
